Welcome to Maple Class.
Maple Class is the year one and two class at Colgate.
Mrs Jervis is the class teacher, Mrs Hilder is the HLTA in Maple.

This term our learning theme is:
‘The Land Before Time!
Who stomps, chomps and roars?’
We will start this term by investigating all about Dinosaurs and the Natural History Museum, whilst reading ‘Dear Dinosaur’. We will then move on to reading ‘Dear Dinosaur – T-Rex on tour’.
We are very excited to be visiting Worthing Beach and Museum this term.
We have uploaded a letter that explains our learning in more detail. You will also find a PowerPoint explaining how we learn in Year 1 and 2.
